Roosevelt High School will dedicate its new academic building at 10 a.m. today.

The 16,000-square-foot L-shaped building was a Measure Q project and cost about $6 million. The building was designed to match the school's distinctive architecture and includes space for entrepreneurial classes, science labs, special needs students, art, photography and pottery.

People attending the dedication should enter the high school off of Barton Avenue.
