There is just more than a week before this year's Oscars are handed out. If you want to see any of the nine movies nominated in the Best Picture category, Regal Cinemas is providing a way to catch up before the first statues are handed out on Feb. 24.
Edwards Stadium, at 250 Paseo del Centro, is hosting "Regal Oscar Movie Week" starting Feb. 15. The marathon showing of the Best Picture nominees will run through Feb. 21.
Feb. 15, 17, 19 and 21, the schedule includes: "Beasts of the Southern Wild," noon; "Life of Pi," 1:50 p.m.; "Les Misérables," 4:20 p.m.; "Amour," 7:20 p.m.; and "Lincoln," 9:50 p.m.
The lineup for Feb. 16, 18 and 20 includes: "Django Unchained," 12:15 p.m.; "Silver Linings Playbook," 3:20 p.m.; "Zero Dark Thirty," 5:45 p.m.; and "Argo," 8:45 p.m.
Of the Oscar nominated movies, only "Amour" has not played in local theaters.
