Left to right, Doug Ryder, Larry Parmeter and Nathan Parmeter, 16 take part in the National Audubon Society’s 113th Annual Christmas Bird Count which took place at Lost Lake Park as well as other nearby locations. This event which takes place from December 14th through January 5th, entails thousands of volunteers throughout the country to provide critical data for a census that assesses the health of bird populations and to help guide conservation action.
