Authorities in Fresno and Clovis are searching for a 40-year-old woman who is suspected of robbing four stores at gunpoint on Sunday.

The woman, who was described having blonde shoulder-length hair, robbed a cigarette shop at gunpoint on Shaw and Fowler avenues about 10:35 a.m., said Clovis police officer Kristina Hershberger.

Minutes later, the same suspect robbed a convenience store at the intersection of Fowler and Ashlan avenues, Hershberger said.

Fresno police responded to two liquor store robberies in northeast Fresno whose suspect matched the description from the Clovis robberies, Hershberger said. Fresno police said they're investigating two robberies, but did not provide details Sunday.

Anyone with information is asked to call Clovis police at (559) 324-2800.
