Dancers from the group Danza San Antonio Maria Claret form part of the procession of the annual Guadalupana Celebration, starting at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at St. John’s Cathedral at 2814 Mariposa St. Many parishes in the Diocese of Fresno took part in a procession to the Fresno Convention Center Exhibit Hall, where a Mass is celebrated. The celebration recounts the story of the Virgin Mary’s appearance to Aztec Indian peasant Juan Diego in Mexico on Dec. 12, 1531.
