VOLLEYBALL

Lindsey Calvin had 13 kills and a .722 hitting percentage, Veronica Nederend balanced 10 kills with 15 digs and Katelyn Vander Tuig set the table with 25 assists as Central Valley Christian -- ranked eighth overall in the Central Section and No. 1 in Division III -- swept Kingsburg 3-0 in the Central Sequoia League.

Hailey Jennings, a senior outside hitter, delivered 27 kills and 23 digs and sophomore libero Alexandra Azua had 42 digs as Sanger defeated Bullard 3-1 in the County/Metro Athletic Conference. Fallon Karian contributed eight kills and 14 digs for the Knights.

GIRLS WATER POLO

Ashlee Coleman, Maecie Collard and Kylie Wheelock scored three goals apiece as defending section Division I champion Clovis defeated Clovis West 10-8 to remain unbeaten in the Tri-River Athletic Conference while improving to 17-2 overall. Mary Brooks scored four times for the Golden Eagles.

GIRLS TENNIS

Strathmore swept the doubles with the teams of Jessica Moreno/Pranavi Yalamanchili, Marisa Tsuboi/Alicia Orozco and Sharmilla Thagarjian/Caitlyn Williams as the Spartans beat Woodlake 6-3 to clinch at least a tie for the East Sequoia League title. They are 14-1 overall and 11-1 in the league with two regular-season matches remaining.
