Fresno Area College Night draws several thousand

Between 4,000 and 5,000 Valley students attended the Fresno Area College Night on Wednesday evening, hosted by the Fresno County Office of Education and PG&E, and billed as a one-stop college shopping event for children in junior and senior high to make contact with any of more than 100 colleges represented.

Special sessions included discussions about financial planning, which covered scholarships and financial aid, preparing for admissions, collegiate athletics and more.
