Clovis police officers arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of drug and weapons possession after a search of his apartment Tuesday morning.

Officers served a warrant at the man's apartment in the 555 block of South Argyle Avenue in Fresno after investigators learned that heroin addicts were buying drugs in large quantities from the man, Clovis police said.

During the search, officers found four-and-a-half ounces of heroin packaged for sale, marijuana, two guns and $2,400 in cash. The street value of the heroin is estimated to be between $6,000 and $7,000, police said.
