He's qualified because: The state's unofficial batting leader hit .627 (32 for 51) with 11 doubles, a triple, three home runs and a 1.059 slugging percentage. The 6-4, 195-pounder and aspiring lawyer doubled in the City/County All-Star game. "He doesn't hit .600 if he plays in the TRAC," Eagles coach Noah Heinz says, "but I definitely think he hits in the high .300s, if not .400. He faced pitchers from many divisions and it didn't matter."
