He's qualified because: Four-year starter hit (.434, 4 HR, 32 RBI) and much more. He picked off 16 runners this season and 53 for his career. "He's probably the best at that position I've ever been around," Tigers recently resigned coach Rich Leavens says. "He has as strong an arm as I've seen on the high school level in the last 20 years." Wanting to go pro after a year or two, Broaddus will play at Reedley College after declining a few scholarships (i.e., Fresno Pacific, Cal State Bakersfield).
