School: Hanford

Grade: Senior

Position: Shortstop

He's qualified because: One of the most accomplished middle infielders ever to come out of Tulare-Kings counties, the four-year starter and West Yosemite League Player of the Year was one of the most powerful run producers in the section. He hit .416 with 33 runs, 31 RBIs, eight doubles, four triples, five home runs and an .818 slugging percentage. His 140 career hits are a school record. "Regardless that he's my son, he has a bright future ahead," recently resigned Bullpups coach Tim Scott says of the 6-1, 200-pounder. Next stop: Fresno State.
