He's qualified because: Seventh-seeded Amro reached round of 16 at Central Section individual singles tournament before falling 6-1, 6-2 to Bullard's Viran Batth, finishing a season that saw first-team All-Tri-River Athletic Conference selection go 23-3 in singles and 6-3 in doubles. Amro has three losses to section opponents in three seasons while going 51-13 in singles. He's 22-16 in doubles. "He has a big game, big forehand, big serve," Bears coach Jonathan Slater said. "He's a match we count on winning every time. We don't have to worry about him all that much." Amro helped Buchanan go 21-5, share TRAC title and finish second in Division I.
