Johnson of East Bakersfield. Batth won County/Metro Athletic Conference tournament and was named league's Player of Year. Used big serve and forehand to go 13-5 in doubles, 12-3 in singles for Knights, who reached Division I semifinals of section team tournament. "He's very mature for his age," Bullard coach Darren Carter said. "Right when he came in, he elevated the play of our whole team."
