He's qualified because: Gopal and partner Justin Yang received No. 3 seed for Central Section individual doubles tournament and placed there with 6-3, 6-3 win over Central's top-seeded Kyle Vo and Jacob Clark in consolation match. Gopal and Yang lost to eventual champs Anthony Busacca and Matt Sewell of Liberty, the No. 2 seeds, in semis. Gopal finished 18-4 in doubles, 10-9 in singles to cap four-year career. "He has a pretty good ground-stroke game, and he was learning to transition to volleying pretty well by the end of the year," Clovis coach Shannon Smith said. Will play for NCAA D-III Allegheny (Pa.) next season.
