He's qualified because: Teamed with Jacob Clark to earn top seed in Central Section individual doubles tourney after winning Tri-River Athletic Conference tournament title. Vo and Clark stumbled in semifinals against eventual runner-up team of Stockdale's John Matthew Flores and Charles Tamer (6-4, 6-4), then were topped by Clovis' Samarth Gopal and Justin Yang (6-3, 6-3) in the third-place match. Vo, Central's valedictorian, went 19-4 in doubles, 9-16 in singles. "He's excellent on defense," Central coach Larry Hotz said. "He's good at getting the ball back and covering the court, and he's an excellent shot maker."
