School: Madera

Grade: Senior

Events: 200 IM, 100 breast, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay

He's qualified because: In first season at Madera after relocating from Texas, Gill etched his name atop the school record book in the 100 breast, swimming a 58.33 at the D-I preliminaries and then a 58.42 in the final for second place. Gill was fourth in the 200 individual medley (school record 1:58.00). He swam the breaststroke of the 200 medley relay (1:42.42) and was the anchor of the 400 free relay (3:23.71) that each placed eighth in D-I. "In practice I had guys swim faster, but when it came to a race, he'd come out of nowhere," Madera coach Kevin Larrivee said. "He loves to race." Gill, who plans to next swim for Fresno Pacific, was fourth in the 100 breast and seventh in the 200 IM at the Clovis West Invitational.
