He’s qualified because: Named East Sequoia League’s Defensive Player of the Year after earning MVP honors the previous two seasons. Sweeper also scored 14 goals and made seven assists as Tigers went 17-8-1 and won second straight Division V title. Pena provided 20 goals and nine assists as Woodlake went 57-29-10 in his four varsity seasons. Next stop: College of the Sequoias.
