Fresno County Supervisor Henry Perea is running for re-election unopposed -- again.
The two-term incumbent faced no competition in his run in 2008 as well, something he likes to believe may reflect his work in public office.
"What I would hope is that the people who live in my district are satisfied with what I'm doing," he said.
Perea has been an advocate for jobs and economic development on the five-member Board of Supervisors. He, alongside his colleagues on the board, also has had to make tough spending cuts amid the recession.
Perea said he hopes to continue his push for economic improvements in Fresno County over the next four years.
Perea's District 3 encompasses much of the city of Fresno.
