He’s qualified because: Was 9 seconds away from becoming only the second four-time California state champion when a 3-0 lead astonishingly evaporated into a 5-3 loss to Gilroy’s Nikko Villarreal. The Cornell-bound Cisneros went 177-4 in his four seasons at Selma, becoming the state’s 27th four-time medalist following title runs at 103 (freshman), 112 (sophomore) and 125 (junior) his first three seasons. Cisneros won tourney titles at the Mann Classic, Doc Buchanan, Five Counties and Mid-Cals, and placed third at the Ironman. Was a four-time Central Sequoia League, Sierra-Sequoia Divisional and Masters champion.
