  A 59-year-old man was shot in a drive-by shooting Thursday night in west-central Fresno, police said.

  The shooting was reported at 10:12 p.m. When police arrived, the victim said he was standing near an apartment complex at 3025 W. Pontiac Way, near Marks Avenue, when someone fired several rounds from a dark-colored sport utility vehicle.

  The man was shot in his lower body and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for injuries not considered life-threatening.
