Badger Pass Ski Area in Yosemite National Park will open for the season Thursday after recent storms dropped more than 24 inches of snow.

Badger Pass, which has been operating since 1935, has 10 runs and five lifts and offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Snow tubing will be available when the area receives more snow.
