He’s qualified because: Powerful and fast (5.04 seconds over 40 yards), he distinguished himself at left guard on offense and tackle on defense — even while playing his first six games with a full hand cast on a broken right wrist — while earning Central Sequoia League Lineman of the Year honors as the Vikings successfully defending their Division III title while going 12-2. “He’s the best lineman I’ve seen in 10 years,” Dinuba coach Kevin Scharton says. “He’ll get a D-1 [college] scholarship, I have no doubt.”
