He’s qualified because: North Sequoia League MVP as a junior, he stepped it up a notch as a senior while rushing for 1,427 yards, scoring 17 touchdowns and averaging 6.0 tackles a game as a linebacker. No one had a greater impact in a 21-16 CIF State Championship Division III bowl win over Campolindo of Moraga as he rushed for 182 yards and helped stuff a Cougars offense that had been averaging 39 points.
