He’s qualified because: Pac-12 Conference recruit made an impression for the Knights’ Division I championship in 2009 and faded in 2010 only to check out as a two-way terror in 2011 as the County/Metro Athletic Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year. He played tight end and defensive end. “In order for us to have a good season, he had to have a good season,” Knights coach Donnie Arax says, “and he did — both ways.”
