CHRIS ALEMAN

School: Clovis

Grade: Senior

He’s qualified because: Helped Cougars reach the semifinals of the Central Section Division I playoffs by scoring 70 goals (second-best on team) and handing out 29 assists (best on team) while earning first-team All-Valley D-I honors.

NICHOLAS ALEXANDER

School: Memorial

Grade: Junior

He’s qualified because: All-County/Metro Athletic Conference and All-Valley Division II first-teamer had 50 goals, 101 steals and 64 assists for D-II runner-up Panthers. Dominant defender held Pepperdine-bound Shae Russell scoreless in D-II final.

NATE EVANS

School: Clovis West

Grade: Senior

He’s qualified because: Was All-Valley Division I MVP after scoring three goals in Clovis West’s 13-11 overtime win over Buchanan for Central Section title. First-team All-Tri River Athletic Conference selection had 39 goals for Golden Eagles.

CONNOR KENNEDY

School: Clovis North

Grade: Junior

He’s qualified because: Named All-Valley Division II MVP after leading Broncos to second straight title, scoring three goals in 11-5 victory over Memorial in final. Finished with 60 goals, 33 assists and 21 steals for 18-11 team.

LYLE KIPP

School: Edison

Grade: Senior

He’s qualified because: County/Metro Athletic Conference MVP and second-team All-Valley Division II pick had 101 goals, 41 steals and 38 assists. Four-year career: 225 goals, 149 steals, 116 assists. Being recruited by UC Irvine and Cal Baptist.

CHRISTIAN SOOK

School: Hanford

Grade: Senior

He’s qualified because: West Yosemite League MVP and All-Valley Division II first-team pick led Bullpups to semifinals of Central Section D-II playoffs while scoring 106 goals with 87 steals, 46 assists and 46 drawn ejections.

TAYLOR SMITH

School: Buchanan

Grade: Junior

He’s qualified because: At 6-foot-8, intimidated opposing shooters while making 166 blocks, 22 steals as a first-team All-Valley Division I pick for the Central Section runner-up Bears. Also a state qualifier in track and field in the high jump.
