  As I told my Vietnam comrade, if there is this push to have women in combat, then by all means have them in an all-female rifle company. This was done with the black soldiers, and also the Japanese unit of World War II. Why? Because these sexual assaults have to be addressed.

  The effort now is to understand how to get this problem under control. Let's not compound the situation by putting females in male combat units. Also, an all-female rifle company can compete with a male rifle company in shooting, marches, drill, etc. Let's be smart about this.
