JESSICA PETROFF

Grade: Junior

She’s qualified because: Her 19:05 at the Clovis Invitational in early October would hold up as the section’s 10th-best time for the season. She also placed third in the County/Metro Athletic Conference meet and sixth in the section D-I final (19:08).

LINDSAY GRAY

School: Clovis

Grade: Senior

She’s qualified because: Consistent performances in the TRAC (19:18), section (19:08) and state (19:17).

CELINA VERA

School: Tulare

Grade: Senior

She’s qualified because: Top female runner in Tulare-Kings counties placed second in section D-II (19:11) by 2 seconds and 46th in the state (19:04) with the section’s ninth-best time of the season.

CRISTAL RIVERA

School: Madera South

Grade: Junior

She’s qualified because: Placed third in the section’s D-II while leading the Stallions to a runners-up finish to Clovis North, and placed 69th in the state (19:27).

KELSEE POTORFF

School: Clovis North

Grade: Freshman

She’s qualified because: Rookie made immediate impact while placing seventh in the TRAC (19:14) in assisting the Broncos’ team title and fifth in the section D-II (19:19).

MARISA GONZALEZ

School: Bullard

Grade: Junior

She’s qualified because: Latest efforts in a consistent three-year had her peak when it mattered, placing fourth in the CMAC (19:48), ninth in the section D-I (19:25) and 49th in the state (19:07).
