He's qualified because: Consistent wire-to-wire -- particularly impressive in only his second year of distance running -- he clocked 15:48 at the Clovis Invitational, won the section D-II final (15:58) and placed 20th at state (15:46). That was No. 7 in the section for the season. "We haven't seen his full potential," Stallions coach Rich Parris says. "He listens, he studies the sport. He's going to be pretty amazing."
