He's qualified because: Was at his best early, winning the Division II title at the Clovis West Invitational at Woodward Park in 15:42, a time that would hold up as fifth best in the section for the season. A second-team Bee All-Star as a junior, he also placed fourth this year in the TRAC (15:48) and seventh in section D-I (16:01).
