The California Sea Grant College Program is accepting applications for 2013 Knauss Marine Policy Fellowships.

California applicants can apply through the California Sea Grant Program in La Jolla or the University of Southern California Sea Grant Program in Los Angeles. Applications are due on Friday, Feb. 17, at 5 p.m.

The Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship program is a unique educational experience for students who have an interest in marine, ocean or Great Lakes resources and the policy decisions that affect those resources.

The grant provides a one-year paid fellowship in Washington, D.C., with a stipend for living expenses and health insurance. Applicants should be highly qualified graduate students.

Applications can be found online at the California Sea Grant's Knauss website at fblinks.com/Knauss

Those selected will be notified in June of next year.
