She's qualified because: Despite not being pushed in the North Sequoia League, where she's been MVP three years running, she remained sharp enough to conquer the big hitters from the Tri-River Athletic Conference while winning the North Area Tournament by three strokes with a 78 at Madera Golf & Country Club. She then tied for 10th at the Central Section Individual Tournament with an 82 at Bakersfield's Rio Bravo Country Club.
