Clovis High lived up to its billing as the preseason state wrestling title favorite, and then some, rolling to the team championship at the Zinkin Classic at Buchanan.

Jonas Gaytan (120), Sergio Enloe (138), Zach Nevills (170), Dakota Gordon (195) and Nick Nevills (285) all won titles for the Cougars, who totaled 313 points to runner-up Madera's 167.5. Buchanan was third with 161.

Other champions from the area included Buchanan's Jason Delacruz (113), Kingsburg's Javier Gasca III (132), Clovis West's Nikko Reyes (182) and Fresno's Arnold Salinas (220).

Gasca was named Outstanding Lower Weight, Reyes the Outstanding Upper Weight and Orland's Hermilo Esquivel (126) the Champion of Champions.
