The Tower Theatre and 3 Guys Playin' the Blues presented $3,465 to Ronald McDonald House Charities from a raffle held during The Montrose concert at The Tower Theatre on Nov. 19.

The Tulare County Association of Realtors 2012 officers and directors are: Mimi Ruby, president; Mark Avedian, president-elect; Chris Barbeau, secretary-treasurer; and directors Dena Clark, Karen Clark-Osborne, Scott Ellis, Brian Icenhower, Chris Jolly, Tricia Kirksey, Charles Mitchell, Ed Morton, and Kelly Salcedo.

New Faces

David Surdyka, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, is now seeing patients at Kaweah Delta Health Care District. Since 1995, he has had private practices in Point Pleasant, W. Va., and Apple Valley. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Doug Sampson, CPA, has joined the accounting firm of Morse Yardumian & Wittwer as a partner. With this addition, the firm name will now be Morse Wittwer Sampson, LLP.

Mindy Martin has joined Central Valley Community Bank as a mortgage loan officer serving Merced, Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry and will be specializing in real estate lending.

London Properties Ltd. has hired the following for residential sales: Omar Ceja, Scott Gorczyca, Nicole Larson and James Coleman in the Fresno office; Lupe Mendoza in the Kingsburg office; and Cheryl Sensabaugh in the Clovis office.

Manuel E. Ignacio has successfully passed the California State Bar Exam and has joined Webb & Walton, LLP as the firm's fourth attorney. He handles employment and class-action defenses.

New Locations

G.J. Gardner Homes announced the opening of a new franchise in northwest Fresno. The Fresno-Madera franchise of G.J. Gardner Homes is owned by family team Jamie Eischen and her parents, David and Donna Jean Siler.

Promotions

May Gnia Her has been promoted to vice president of community impact for United Way of Fresno County. She has been with United Way since 2008 as the financial stability manager.

Tammy Maynard has been promoted to director of academic affairs for the Central Valley campus of University of Phoenix. She will oversee faculty recruitment, curriculum development and implementation of university academic policies and programs.
