A man who died in a domestic dispute Tuesday in central Fresno has been identified.

Terrill Senegal, 35, died as the result of a stabbing shortly after noon on the 4000 block of Plaza Drive West near Cedar and Belmont avenues, the Fresno County Coroner's Office said Wednesday.

Police said Senegal apparently argued with a woman he lived with and was fatally wounded.

Senegal was pronounced dead at Community Regional Medical Center. The woman also was taken to the hospital.

Police said no arrests have been made, and they are investigating it as a case of self-defense.

Possible break in home-invasion case

Fresno County sheriff's deputies may have a break in solving a home-invasion robbery from earlier this month following the discovery of a stolen car on the 100 block of North Temperance Avenue on Wednesday. Three men and a woman were detained there.

Spokesman Chris Curtice said several people armed with handguns forced their way into a home on the 3500 block of North Riverbend Avenue on Aug. 8 after a woman knocked on the door and asked to use a telephone.

A man, his wife and his daughter were forced to the floor and property was taken, including the family's pickup. The truck was later located near Clinton Avenue and Temperance.

The next day, a credit card belonging to the family was used at a Clovis filling station and detectives obtained evidence from a video at the store.

Wednesday morning, a real estate agent discovered several people living in a mobile home at the Temperance address and called police. Four were detained and deputies believe one of the men matches the description of a home invader.

Fresno man arrested on meth charge

A 45-year-old Fresno man wanted in Kings County on narcotics charges was arrested Tuesday in Coarsegold on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, the Madera County Sheriff's Department said Wednesday.

A deputy seized the methamphetamine after spotting the man parked in a vehicle near Meadow Ridge Road off Highway 41 south of Coarsegold.

When questioned by the deputy, the man gave a false identity, but then quickly recanted and said he did not give his own name because he knew there was a warrant for his arrest in Kings County, a Madera County sheriff's spokeswoman said.

The man was booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property.

Man who died in fall from Half Dome ID'd

A man who fell off Half Dome in Yosemite National Park and died has been identified as Ryan Leeder, 23, of Los Gatos.

Yosemite officials say rangers received a report about a man falling off Half Dome around 6:30 p.m. Monday. They used helicopters to find Leeder's body Tuesday.

The death appears to be accidental and is under investigation.

Two escape fiery crash near Modesto

A Strathmore man was at the wheel of a big rig that blew a tire and crashed on Highway 99 south of Modesto on Tuesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.

Roger Goreham, 48, suffered minor burns and cuts in the crash. Passenger Rodney Goreham, 52, of Manteca, suffered multiple broken bones and severe burns.

Witnesses said that when the tire exploded, Roger Goreham lost control, veered to the left and struck a Toyota van driven by Kwai Kwan, 64, of San Francisco.

The truck then hit a center divider and a metal guardrail, followed by a concrete bridge pillar that ruptured the fuel tank.

Roger Goreham kicked out the driver's side window and he and Rodney Goreham were able to escape seconds before the cab burst into flames.
