He's qualified because: Shot a 74 and battled Bee Player of the Year Michael Tolladay in a six-hole playoff for the Central Section crown before narrowly coming up short.
Won the Central Area championship and West Yosemite League title as well. Averaged 71.4 in the WYL.
He said it: "He has two particular strengths. One is that he drives the ball extremely straight, so he's always approaching the green from a very good position. His wedge play is at the level of at least a very accomplished amateur.
