He's qualified because: Hardly anonymous in the section despite playing at a small school and in the northwest corner, the 6-2, 225-pounder punctuated a four-year career with predictable impact.

The North Sequoia League Player of the Year rebounded from a broken hand that removed him from the season's first eight games by hitting. 404 and going 5-1 on the bump with a 1.31 ERA for a 23-5-1 team.

Helped Lions win the conference with a 9-1 record and was top-seeded in Division IV before losing 6-3 in 11 innings to eventual champion Bakersfield Christian in the semifinals.

Career numbers that stand tall in the lore of Kerman baseball: .306 average, 80 RBIs and 19-5 pitching record with a 1.89 ERA.
