I've always loved the simple idea of pulling out a blank sheet of paper, getting a pen or pencil and manually transcribing something onto it.Education: Associate of arts degree from Fresno City College in liberal arts (1975), bachelor's degree from California State University, Fresno, in mass communication/journalism.Family: My fantastic wife, Lynda (three years in August), my stepson, Nick, and our cat, Ella.Political philosophy: I read once that conservatives blame government, liberals blame business and radicals blame both.
