A four-year varsity player in No. 1 singles, she's a repeat Bee All-Star and a two-time section individuals tourney runner-up to Bullard's Gonzalez.
Only Nardocci, a straight-A student, pressed the Knights' junior in the Valley, and it was to the tune of a 14-14 tie in the section final before Gonzalez escaped, 15-14.
"Playing the No. 1 spot her entire career was a tough road because she always faced our opponent's best competition and was never allowed to have a day off," Cougars coach Thad Crews says. "She will be greatly missed."
