Events: 100 HH/400 relay/long jump/triple jump

He's qualified because: Near-miss Bee boys track and field Athlete of the Year scored a section-high 23.5 points in the boys division of the section finals by winning the long jump (23-6).

Placed second in the triple jump (46-0), fifth in the 110 high hurdles (14.91) and contributing a leg to the Grizzlies' third-place 400 relay (42.20) as Central placed second to Buchanan as a team.

He then placed fourth in the state triple jump (47-9).
