  --Buchanan ran away with the boys team title and shared the girls crown with Clovis West at the Tri-River Athletic Conference Championships. Buchanan's boys received sweeps from Cody Brazeal in the 800 meters (1:58.02) and 1,600 (4:21.89) and Karunveer Chohan in the 110 (15.57) and 300 (39.96) hurdles. Central's Willie Alexander delivered an impressive double in the long (23-61/2) and triple (47-93/4) jumps. In the girls' division, Buchanan's Hagen Reedy swept the 1,600 (5:00.31) and 3,200 (11:12.47) and Clovis West's Nikki Okwelogu won the discus (143-2) and shot put (44-3). Clovis East's Maciah Murray leaped a section season-best 18-91/4 in the long jump and also won the high jump (5-3).
