She's qualified because: Front-runner of a gifted group of Tigers underclassmen.

She anchored a section-winning relay, placed second in the 400 and fifth in the 200 while scoring 14.5 individual points – fifth-best at the Masters.

Edison's 1,600 relay finished seventh in the state at 3:51.77, but its 3:50.87 a night before in the prelims ranks fourth in section history.
