He's qualified because: Swam automatic or consideration All-America times in three events at the Central Section championships.

Won the 100 free in a consideration 45.81, placing second in the 200 free in an automatic 1:39.83 and swimming the anchor leg of the champion 200 free relay in a consideration 1:26.12.

Also part of second-place 400 free relay (3:13.33).

During his four-year career, was part of four relay champs, while winning twice and placing second twice individually.
