He's qualified because: Scored first major high school tournament championship at prestigious Five Counties Invitational and kept rolling through postseason, winning East Yosemite League, Yosemite Divisional and Masters titles before finishing 40-7 season with fourth-place medal at state meet.

Also placed second at El Dorado Tournament, fourth at the Bash and fourth at Doc Buchanan.

Was one of 16 statewide recipients of CIF Pursuing Victory With Honor award.
