Achievements

A.J. Yates, newly appointed board member, joins reappointed Elizabeth Hudson and William White on the 21st District Agricultural Association board of directors of The Big Fresno Fair. The board also re-elected Tim Bakman as board president, William White as vice president and Debbie Jacobsen as secretary/treasurer for 2011.

Hy-Pana House in Fresno received distinction as a five-star skilled-nursing facility, according to the Cents for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Karl Lehman is the new president and Kip Greene is the vice president of the San Joaquin Valley Viticulture Technical Group.

Newly elected and appointed board commissioners for the Fresno County Economic Opportunities Commission are Amy Arambula, Charles Bailey Jr., Sandy Cha, George Finley Sr., Pastor Rufus Fruge, Tito A. Lucero, Lori Mayfield Esq., Daren A. Miller, Jess Saldana, Woua Vang, Juanita Veliz and Victor M. Villar.

Announcements

Tom Beene, former president of Visalia Community Bank, will return as president and chief executive officer. Wayne Johnston was loan officer of the month for January at U.S. Mortgage Home Loan Center.

Luis R. Ruiz and Jennifer Romero-Morgan were appointed by Rabobank to lead commercial and business banking efforts in Visalia, Tulare and Hanford. Ruiz will be vice president and commercial banking officer with Romero-Morgan serving as assistant vice president and premier client services officer.

Tonisha Pacheco was recognized for outstanding customer service in January by U.S. Mortgage Home Loan Center.

Awards

Saint Agnes Medical Center recently received the Dale Carnegie Training Leadership Award from Dale Carnegie Training, a human resources and management consulting organization.

Bill Enns, of Pearson Realty, was awarded the Joseph F. Kenrick Bulldog Award 2010 in recognition of professionalism, hard work and tenacity.

Jim Olivas, A.A.C., Pearson Realty Visalia office, and Dale Arthur and Jeremy Reed of the Fresno office, were awarded the Annual Peer Award 2010. The winners are selected by fellow sales agents in recognition for maintaining the highest standards of personal integrity, superior work ethic and individual professionalism.

New faces

Bill Downing joined the RE/MAX Clovis office Gold team. Downing has SRES and SFR designations and has more than six years of experience in the real estate industry.

Jesse Ituarte joined the RE/MAX Gold Fresno office. Ituarte specializes in residential sales for homeowners and investors.

Julie Lubecki, RN, MSN, Katherine McCoy, RN, BSN, MSN, Christine Sarrico, FHFMA, MBA and Beverly Smart joined Saint Agnes Medical Center. Lubecki is director of surgical services, McCoy is chief nursing officer, Sarrico is chief financial officer, and Smart is serving as executive director, Saint Agnes Home Health Hospice.

New agents joining Guarantee Real Estate are Leon Borunda, Glen Sorensen, Shannon Earl, Luis Beckford, Jason Farris and Donna Sciacqua, Flex office, and Tamera Pelren, Fort Washington office.

Promotions

Debbie Chappell, MHA, was promoted to vice president of Clinical Support at Saint Agnes Medical Center.
