She's qualified because: A Bee second-team All-Star as a freshman, when she placed 14th in the CIF State Championship D-V race (19:27), she developed into a four-year force for the Broncos.

She placed fourth in the Central Section D-III races in 2008 (19:33) and '09 (19:10) before winning the D-II event this season in 18:45 to lead a 51-point runaway for the team title.

And she then matched that 18:45 while finishing 39th in the CIF State Championship D-II race.

He said it: "In a season, you pretty much expect to have a bad race or two even if you're the most consistent person on the planet, but she was very consistent. She's battled serious asthma problems in the past, but it seemed to be less of a factor this year. She was very determined and made a decision she wants to run in college." – Broncos coach Jason Lienau.
