She's qualified because: After being more of a defensive specialist last season, Hill moved into role of offensive go-to player and responded with 71 goals, 30 assists and 24 steals while being selected first-team All-East Yosemite League for champion Panthers.
Also named second-team All-Valley for Porterville, which entered its first postseason in Division I as No. 6 seed. Considering walking on at Long Beach State or Cal State Bakersfield, according to Porterville coach Richard Taylor.
He said it: "The biggest thing about Caitlyn is what we needed her to do for the team, go from being the hole defender to the hole set. She had to learn how to get into position so she could shoot. I know it sounds easy, but it's not. It was a big step. And she worked hard all summer and really did a good job for us. I was really pleased with how she progressed." – Taylor
