She's qualified because: Averaged a Tri-River Athletic Conference third-best 75.5 strokes per 18 holes, was third at the Central Section North Area Tournament with a 72, placed second in the section individual tourney at Sunnyside Country Club with a 2-under 71 and tied Clovis' Madchen Ly for best section performance at the Southern California Regional with a 77.

Loyd averaged 74.5 in the postseason and shot 78 at Valley Oaks Golf Course in Visalia while leading the Broncos to the section Division II team title – the school's first.

She looked forward to competing against Madchen and \[Clovis East's\] Janine Sodersten in the TRAC, yet never was arrogant or cocky. She knew they would push her, and they knew she would push them.
