Former NFL and Fresno State football player Lorenzo Neal found his Clovis home burglarized this afternoon after returning from a weeklong vacation with his family, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities responded to the home near Friant Road and Willow Avenue around 2 p.m., sheriff’s spokesman Chris Curtice said. Neal listed some of the stolen items on Twitter, including personal gear from his rookie season, framed jerseys from throughout his career, a Jerry Rice-autographed jersey and a pair of gloves from one of the Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier fights. Some jewelry was also missing. Curtice said the loss is estimated at several-hundred-thousand dollars.

Neal is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who helps recover his property. He has also asked locals to keep an eye on Craigslist, eBay and area sports shops for the stolen items.

Anyone with information should contact the Sheriff’s Office at (559) 488-3111 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
