He's qualified because: Was an All-County/Metro Athletic Conference selection for the second straight year and also finished second in the league championship. Placed 11th at the Central Section individual championships. In competition, Masters averaged 1.1 strokes over par per round.
He said it: "T.J made big improvements in his game, mentally and physically through his determination to improve. His average stroke over par went from 4.1 last year to 1.1 this year. He leads our team in several ways, especially with his mental approach." -- Clovis North coach Ron Ramos
