She's qualified because: Went 13-0 as the team's No. 2 player in regular season; won her first two matches in section team playoffs at No. 1 singles; then was switched to No. 3 doubles in team finals against Buchanan and combined with Coua Lee to win 15-3, 15-4. Split with Buchanan's Sam Battles and lost to Bullard's Pookie Gonzalez while placing third in the section individual tournament.
She said it: "Like Pookie and Sam, she's a power player with strong, strong smashes. She'll play Pookie for two more years, and she wants to take it to her one time. That's the goal we're looking forward to working with." Timberwolves coach Janine Sodersten
